Education
Our Nation is facing a national shortfall of college graduates. My belief is, we are throwing good money after bad. We have tried the same thing over and over again expecting a different result. We continue to try to force our children to fit the curriculum when we should be making the curriculum fit our children however, in order to accomplish this we need to move away from old thinking.
We are suffering from a top end over load and a service light implementation and who suffers; Our children, teachers and society as a whole. It is not a government's responsibility to control a people but, educate a people. In order to do this, our government needs to return local control of our educational system back to the local communities and families for the critical decision making that will make their educational system work again. We need to support charter schools and a voucher system. We need to reward excellence and cut out poor performance where ever it exists. We need to create educational communities that are engaged and feel they own their educational system to the point they except it's short coming's and stand tall in it's achievements.
